Speakers Bank successful at the Inspire Awards

Speakers Bank Inspire Awards web

Congratulations to Speakers Bank for their involvement and success at the Inspire Awards held at Price Waterhouse Cooper’s Southbank premises on 26 April 2017.

Facilitated by the Supreme Court of Victoria’s Funds in Court office, the Inspire Awards recognise adults with a disability and their professional contributions and achievements in leadership and volunteering.

The Inspire Awards are peer based, and this year is the first time Speakers Bank has been involved. They nominated two of their public speakers, who both won awards for Best Achievement in Community Volunteering, a category sponsored by Rotary International.

Rufus Uulf won Third Place for Best Achievement in Community Volunteering. Read more about Rufus and his nomination here.

Evan Bichara won Second Place for Best Achievement in Community Volunteering. Read more about Evan and his nomination here.

Speakers at the event included Professor Gillian Triggs, the Australian Human Rights Commission President, and Marilyn Warren AC; Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
