When Mary, Transition Coordinator for Housing and Support, started working with Trevor he had been in Aged Care for seven years. A ‘simple Aussie bloke’, Trevor’s long-term goal was to move into his own home and live independently.
Right as Covid-19 restrictions were coming into place, Trevor, with help from Mary and her team, moved into a supported disability accommodation apartment in April 2020. Mary spoke to us about this process, and Trevor’s journey, for the 2021 AGM.
