As part of Seniors Festival in New South Wales, the Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre held Seniors Expo 2017 in their RSL auditorium on Wednesday 8 March 2017.
Over a hundred people attended the all-day event to find out what service providers and facilities were available from stall holders. There was also morning tea and entertainment in the afternoon.
annecto was one of the organisations present, and community members were able to ask about our Aged Care Services.
“The event was well advertised and people wanted to find out about the changes to the Home Care Packages and what they needed to do to get assistance,” said Jan Borrie, annecto Mildura Case Manager.
“These events benefit the community and should be run twice a year,” suggests Jan. “It’s great to see the community are wanting information.”
