Community Care to help you live well at home

We know how important it is for you to live well at home, connected to family and friends, and being active in the community.

annecto is proud to offer three tiers of care and support for older Australians who wish to remain living in their own homes.

these levels include:

  • Community Aged Care Packages (CACPs) Low level care for people at home
  • Extended Aged Care at Home (EACH) High level care (nursing home level) for people at home
  • Dementia - Extended Aged Care at Home (Dementia EACH) High level Dementia care (nursing home level) for people at home

Gordon and Amy are husband and wife who receive community care from annecto. This support enables them to continue to participate actively in their community and remain in their own home. Gordon agrees that the support annecto provides has made a significant difference to their lives. 'Without the gardening, cleaning and other support, Amy and I may have been placed into residential care all too prematurely.' Gordon produces the two hour radio program 'Sinatra and Friends' every week for community radio station 98.1 FM from home.

We actively encourage people to be involved in life - in activities during the week and weekend which allow for positive and supportive social networks and an increased feeling of wellbeing.

Flexible range of services may include case management, personal care, domestic assistance, meal delivery/preparation, home and garden maintenance, transport or in home respite, just to name a few.

Projects and activities provide older Australians an opportunity to meet with their peers, form friendships and learn about services that are available to them. Depending on the region and the level of care, activities may include creating projects such as large wall murals with a professional artist, recording life stories through digital storytelling, making Life Books, regular swimming groups or singing and touring with the SongBirds, annecto's very own choir.
