We actively encourage people to be involved in life - in activities during the week and weekend which allow for positive and supportive social networks and an increased feeling of wellbeing.
Flexible range of services may include case management, personal care, domestic assistance, meal delivery/preparation, home and garden maintenance, transport or in home respite, just to name a few.
Projects and activities provide older Australians an opportunity to meet with their peers, form friendships and learn about services that are available to them. Depending on the region and the level of care, activities may include creating projects such as large wall murals with a professional artist, recording life stories through digital storytelling, making Life Books, regular swimming groups or singing and touring with the SongBirds, annecto's very own choir.
our planning and support services include:
- Person-centred community care in the home such as home and garden maintenance or personal care
- Flexible day, evening, overnight and recreational respite to support carers
- Practical help and information to manage at home. For example, nutrition, meal preparation or delivery, maintaining personal interests and hobbies, with transport to help you get there
- After-Hours Response support, seven days a week and 24 hours a day on weekends and public holidays
- Support workers from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds, auslan interpreters and multilingual Infoline.
