Interaction between people of diverse ages, cultures and experiences often culminate in some wonderful relationships and positive outcomes.

collectively annecto

The annecto team works across Victoria to foster and support the community where all people with disabilities, older people, families and carers are welcome and fully included in valued roles, as equal participants whether at school, the workplace, as volunteers, in the home, or any other part of the community.

Our person-centred focus ensures individuals have the resources to design their own support path and future direction, and carers are supported in their caring role through flexible respite and other initiatives.

Having a coffee and a chat are all part of ensuring that people remain connected with their local community

We assist people to:

  • identify hopes and dreams that are important to people through individual planning
  • reach their goals, which may include learning to look after their own home, using public transport or doing their own shopping
  • connect with their own community, while creating, developing and strengthening meaningful friendships and relationships

annecto's Songbirds community choir performs multi -lingual songs at numerous community venues to great acclaim.

We value the relationships we have with all Victorians ensuring that people remain living in their home whether in the big city or in rural and remote locations.

We ensure all services are managed and delivered by local people to local people, working with people from different cultural backgrounds, through initiatives such as our multilingual language line and our work with over 30 different language groups including:
