The annecto David House Learning Hub offers a cross section of activities and courses, designed to assist people with disability get involved in their community and to increase learning and independence. You can participate in areas of learning or activities, both on and off-site, based on personal interests. Courses range from using iPads and general computer skills to gardening, exercise, health and wellbeing for adults and the creative arts. They may assist you to develop skills that lead to employment or new interests and hobbies.

You may choose any of our activities and courses on an individual basis, or we can work with you to develop a plan that identifies interests and establishes goals that may be achieved over the course of a semester through a combination of classes.
The courses operate Monday to Friday, 9:00am until 3pm, from our base in Yarraville at annecto David House.
Yes there is a cost, and you may purchase any of the services that we offer. Our services also comply with many guidelines for financial assistance you may receive. This includes financial assistance from the Department of Human Services such individual support packages, the Commonwealth Government or the Transport Accident Commission (Vic).
While the Australian and State Governments may pay for most of the services for people who are eligible, there are also some extra costs involved and you may be asked to make some contribution toward the services you receive. If you don’t currently receive funding support give us a call and we can help to identify what financial assistance may be available to you, and discuss other options you may have to achieve your goals.
